Eileen toasts 100 years with a glass of Bailey’s


Mrs Woolfson moved from Hull to Glasgow after marrying Louis in 1939, whom she met when she was maid of honour at the wedding of best friend Elfreida and future brother-in-law Hymie.
She opened a millinery department in the family business, and also lived in Newton Mearns.

Hide AdDaughter Alma said that Eileen attributes her long life to “her love of competitive Bridge and a regular nip of Bailey’s Irish Cream”.
Eileen will be joined by Alma, son Charles, three granddaughters and three great-grandchildren in celebrating her 100th birthday.
