Elaine Wilson, Forth, does Great Scottish Run for mum

A WOMAN whose family have been devastated by breast cancer has taken on the challenge of the Great Scottish Run to raise much-needed funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer in Scotland.

Elaine Wilson, from Forth, has signed up to Professor Mike Dixon’s running team Mike’s Marvels. She will be running 10k to fundraise for Breakthrough’s life-saving work.

Elaine has also signed up her daughter and son-in-law Laura and Scott Anderson, and two 15-year-old nieces Amy Scouller and Aimee Ferguson to take part.

The whole family will be running in honour of Elaine’s mum May who is currently battling breast cancer.
