Emergency closure of path after canal bank collapses at Twechar
The collapse of part of the bank at the canal near Twechar has led to the emergency closure of a path.
East Dunbartonshire Council tweeted today (Monday, April 6): “Emergency path closure! The path along the underpass below the canal at Twechar is closed temporarily due to a partial bank collapse. It’s not safe to use & until it can be repaired please avoid using it. We would appreciate your co-operation.”
