ERC housing stock available to browse online

The move online aims to make it easier for tenants to see what’s available and get full contact details.

A council spokeswoman commented: “It’s already been a success with some being snapped up after tenants spotted them on the web, Facebook and Twitter.”

Councillor Danny Devlin, convener for housing, added: “This is a great addition to what housing services are doing online.

“One potential tenant considering a sheltered housing home saw it on Facebook and contact with the allocations team has increased as a result.

“We’re doing everything we can to meet customers’ needs and this online approach is another way to do that.”
