ERC look for website help

SEEMS like The Extra is not the only organisation with change on its mind.

East Renfrewshire council is giving its website a makeover and it is looking for input from local people to give an indicator what changes are needed.

The council is now trying to entice people to take part in testing sessions, to take place in two libraries - Clarkston and Barrhead - later this month on Thursday, May 30.

Volunteers will work with council staff, who will take them through a variety of different scenarios on the council’s website.

They will then be asked to find different pieces of information on the website and asked to rate the difficulty of the task.

Ideally, the council is hoping for a mix of people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences of using online services to come forward.

Anyone interested in helping out should visit the council’s website at www.esatrenfrewshire.gov.uk and complete the online form.

One of the council team will then be in touch to make the arrangements.
