Ex-Biggar High pupil Sarah Struthers nominated for Scottish fashion award
FORMER Biggar High pupil Sarah Struthers will be rubbing shoulders with the cream of the fashion industry having been nominated for a prestigious Scottish fashion award.
Sarah (21), a final-year Fashion Design student at Robert Gordon University’s Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, is in the running for the Scottish Graduate of the Year Award, along with three of her classmates, comprising half of all nominees in the category.
The nomination rounds off a highly successful year for the budding designer, who is due to graduate in July, after she recently won the Scottish final of the Society of Dyers and Colourists Design Competition.
