Family's plea to be reunited with much-loved pet

A Bishopbriggs family are appealing to the public to help trace their beloved cat who has gone missing.

Fourteen-year-old Fatty, as she is affectionately called, disappeared from her home in the Huntershill area on Tuesday, September 20.

She is grey all over, aside from pure white whiskers.

Cats Protection Glasgow Branch posted on their Facebook site: “Fatty is 14-years-old and as she’s grown older has less and less lived up to her name.

“She’s not so much fat now as fluffy. She doesn’t wear a collar but is chipped.”

They added: “She isn’t a nice, approachable cat. She can suddenly turn on whoever is brave enough to be stroking her/looking at her.

“Despite her ‘lively’ personality, she is a very much missed part of her family who are incredibly worried for her and distressed at not knowing what has happened to her.”

If you recognise Fatty or have any information with regards to her whereabouts contact the Glasgow branch on 0345 371 2722, email [email protected] or send private message on Facebook. All the information is on the branch website (http://bit.ly/2f4X0Dl).
