Fashion store returns to town

Fashion brand Kirkwood of Scotland is set to return to Motherwell with the opening of a new store.

Kirkwood of Scotland is reopening in Motherwell

Kirkwood previously had a shop in Hamilton Road before it ceased trading several years ago.

However, the brand was brought back in 2013, first online and then with the opening of a store in Rutherglen.

Last autumn another location was opened in Newton Mearns and now in Motherwell the company will take over the former Krush unit on Brandon Parade South.

An official opening day has to be confirmed, but is likely to take place later this month.
