Fears that council charges will encourage fly tipping in Clydesdale

THERE are fears that flytippers could be on the rise as the council begins charging for extra rubbish uplifts.

From the beginning of April the public are being charged £30 for extra uplifts of rubbish as the local authority copes with a drastically reduced budget.

But although you will still get a first uplift free of charge the news of the extra charge for further uplifts has not gone down well.
