Findings of latest Lanarkshire public health report

INCREASING life expectancy, fewer deaths from coronary heart disease and a birth rate above the Scottish average are just some of the highlights from Lanarkshire’s latest public health report.

Public Health 2010-11 – The Annual Report of the Director of Public Health (DPH Annual Report), by Dr Harpreet Kohli was published on Wednesday, October 26.

It looks at the health of Lanarkshire’s population, including illness trends and the work being done to improve health.
