First birthdayfor Third Age

MEMBERS of Lanark U3A marked its first birthday with a celebration in Greyfrairs Church Hall.

The group certainly had cause to celebrate as it has already amassed more than 90 members in the space of just 12 months.

Chairwoman Lesley Gair cut the cake as members looked on and a presentation by two trainers of the British Red Cross followed.
