Forth village wins two prizes at Beautiful Scotland awards

FORTH village was honoured with two prizes at Keep Scotland Beautiful’s prestigious Beautiful Scotland award ceremony in the Pavilion, Rothesay.

Billy Watt and Rena Whyte, respectively chairman and secretary/fund-raiser of the Flourishing Forth group, picked up a Community Involvement Award and silver medal certificate in the Large Village category.

This was recognition for the tireless recent work done by Forth villagers improving the area in the past year, such as putting up 78 hanging baskets with flowers including geraniums and begonias.
