Forth White House revamp

ADULTS in Forth have no excuse for being out of shape, with the arrival of an outdoor gym – basically a playpark for grown-ups – in the village.

The park contains eight pieces of equipment to allow a range of exercise moves and, even in the depths of winter, it is being well used.

Its construction is due entirely to the efforts of village volunteers.

Forth and District Initiative Group has been raising the funds for it and has now handed over a cheque for £47,400 to South Lanarkshire Council which organised the work.

The exercise park is the latest in a long line of leisure improvements at the White House Recreation Park undertaken by the Initiative Group.
