Fresh start at Stamperland parish church

STAMPERLAND parish church threw open its doors to new members recently, holding a Fresher’s Day.

The event, organised to promote the work of the church’s groups, included the Boys Brigade company, Scouts, Guild, East Renfrewshire Food Bank and Heart for Art — a Crossreach programme for people with dementia.

East Renfrewshire councillor Mary Montague, provost Alastair Carmichael and wife Liz joined event organiser David McKee, reverend George Mackay and congregation member Margaret McKee in celebration of Stamperland church’s valued place within the community.
