Freya does some spooky fundraising

A KIND-HEARTED kid from Condorrat has decided to do something extra-special this Hallowe’en.

Freya Davidson (5), who is a pupil at Condorrat Primary School, is holding a fundraising Hallowe’en party at Dullatur Golf Club for the children’s charity The Rainbow Trust.

The party - which takes place on Wednesday, October 31, from 6pm to 8pm - will feature a magician and disco.

Freya decided to hold the event to raise vital funds for the charity and help kids.

The Rainbow Trust provides practical and emotional support to families when their child has a life threatening or terminal illness.

The charity’s support lasts from diagnosis throughout treatment, to bereavement or recovery and beyond, and the team of Family Support Workers operating from bases across the country.

Freya fundraised for the charity at the Antonine Shopping Centre on Monday and promoted the event which she hopes will be a sell-out for the charity to benefit.

Tickets for this event are £3 each and a raffle featuring items donated by Tesco in Craigmarloch will also be held.

Freya would like to thank Tesco in Craigmarloch, Dullatur Golf Club and the Antonine Shopping Centre for their support.
