Friends of Carluke High unveil new logo

FRIENDS of Carluke High School celebrated their first year by revealing their new logo.

The group, set up to provide extras for the pupils, organised a design competition within the school to find a logo.

That attracted many entries and overall winner was Faiza Ali of 4K. Her design appears on the banner, and on the group’s publicity material.

In addition the FCHS obtained grants to equip the PSE department with art materials and to provide new microphones and electrical equipment for activities from public speaking competitions to musical performances.

The first AGM is on Thursday November 15 at 7pm, and new Friends are very welcome. For further information, contact Linda Martin on 01555 773680.
