Fun and games at Woodhill

The wet weather didn't dampen the spirits of the visitors to the '¨recent annual Woodhill '¨Family Fun Day.

Dozens of people, young and old turned out to support the event.

Woodhill Residents Group Chair Donald Macdonald said: “Such is the popularity of the annual Woodhill Family
Fun Day that despite the
rain, local families stayed on until the end to support our event.

“We were also grateful
for donations from Aldi,
Morrisons, Gala Bingo and the Wheatsheaf Inn. “

As well as the bouncy
castle and fun events, the
Scottish Fire and Rescue came along with an important
safety message.

Mr Macdonald said: “The spectacular chip pan fire
safety demonstration was
one of the highlights of the event.”

He added: “Support was appreciated from the S5 and S6 pupils from Bishopbriggs Academy. They manned the ticket sales, sold toys and inflated balloons.

different generations work together to improve their
local area.”
