THINKING pink and raising funds for charity into the bargain - that's precisely what these students at Cumbernauld College have been up to.

Last Friday, students on the National Certificate in Health Care course collected money for Breast Cancer Awareness.

They also staged a tombola and charged fellow students for dressing up in fancy dress. . . and a very impressive 900 was raised on the day.

Student Ashleigh Shiels said: "We decided to opt for this particular charity because this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We are very pleased with the amount that was raised and would like to thank everyone involved."
