Gazette in audio...for 30 years

FOR over 30 years a dedicated group of volunteers has been making sure that those losing their eyesight don’t lose touch with their community.

Every single week through the decades volunteers have taken it in turn to read out extracts from the Gazette, and post recordings off to those who are registered blind.

And those few hours allow the blind to keep up to date with the news, stay involved in local activites and keep on a level playing field when it comes to discussing local births, marriages and deaths!
