Get on your mountain bike

You are invited to the first meeting of Lennoxtown/
Milton of Campsie Mountain Bike Club.

The meeting takes place at Ferguson Park in Lennoxtown on Thursday, May 19, from 7-9pm.

The first ride will be a local ride to Lennox Forest. If enough people attend, it is hoped to make this a weekly event.

Organisers ask that cyclists to remember the usual essentials – water, helmet, appropriate clothing and a working bike.

The design for a mountain bike park in Lennox Forest went on public display recently.

Rebound, a charity set up to fund the facility, received funding from Awards for All towards the design.

Other funding and 
assistance has come from Flightpath Fund, the 
East Dunbartonshire Community Grants Scheme 
and Kirkintilloch Baptist Church.
