Girls are on the go at East Ren schools

Active Girls Day gave girls in East Renfrewshire schools the chance to take part in a host of different physical activities.

Fun activity workshops were organised by school PE staff, Active Schools co-ordinators and coaches from local clubs.

And, as well as encouraging active lifestyles, workshops also looked at developing self-confidence, self-esteem and positive body image.

Active Girls Day is a national event that saw schools across Scotland taking part.
