Glasgow Road closed after lorry gets trapped under bridge

The container lorry got trapped under the bridge on Glasgow Road near Auchenhowie at about 9.45am this morning and the police and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are now there helping the driver to get the vehicle out safely.

Bearsden man Victor Budas said: “This has happened a few times now.

“The lorry drivers just don’t realise their vehicle is too tall to get through.”
