Glasgow Road Closures: Busy Glasgow West End street to be closed this weekend

Restrictions will be in place on the West End street over the weekend and motorists are advised to ‘avoid’

It has been announced that a busy Glasgow West End street will be effected by road works this weekend.

Resurfacing works are to take place at the junction of Great Western Road and Park Road. Glasgow City Council have confirmed that traffic restrictions will be put in place from 8am until 5pm on Saturday 9 November and Sunday 10 November.

Restrictions at the junction of Great Western Road and Park Road are:

Great Western Road at Park Road junction will be reduced to one lane each way with temporary two-way traffic lights.
Park Road will be closed between West Princess Street and Great Western Road.

Motorists should plan their journey ahead and are urged to avoid the area if they can as they should expect delays.
