Glasgow switches Christmas lights on
GLASGOW was lit up last night at the long-anticipated big switch-on of the Christmas street decorations.
An estimated 12,000 people attended the ticket-only event as Provost Sadie Docherty and James Dundas (3) switched on the lights, followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
