EAST Renfrewshire chamber of commerce is looking for firms to be nominationed for this year’s business awards.

The event, now in its third year, is organised by the chamber and this year looks to be the biggest yet.

The awards are supported by a number of organisations and East Renfrewshire council.

Both members of the chamber and businesses operating withing the East Renfrewshire area are eligible to enter and there are a number of categories for firms to be nominated in.

The diverse rannge of categories means that all businesses can be nominated for at least one: including the home workers award, exccellence in customer services and family business of the year.

Chamber president John Hamilton said: “The awards have grown significantly and I would luike to thank our sponsors in particular for their continued support.#”The business awards provide a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the success of the chamber, our members and businesses in East Renfrewshire.”

“This event has grown in stature and we look forward to a celebration of our best local businesses.”

The closing date for applications is 5pm on Thursday, April 17 and the winners will be announced at the business awards dinner of Thursday, June 5.
