A flashmob in blindfolds amazed shoppers when they took over Glasgow’s Argyle Street on Saturday to stand out for Guide Dogs Week and raise awareness - and funds - for people who are blind or partially sighted.

The flashmob which contained a substantial number of southside dancers were led by choreographers Rachel Smith and Krystal McAleer.

They were joined by volunteers and guide dog owners who had learned the dance moves, all of which were specially choreographed to Girls Aloud’s Jump. So far, the dancers have raised around £1000 for their efforts.
