Haggis helps Biggar runners cash in for Sports Relief

THERE was a fantastic turnout of 200 competitors at the Biggar Hairy Haggis one-mile run which raised a terrific £1500 for Sport Relief.

Fun was the order of the day at an event at the Hartreemill grounds of Biggar Rugby Club, which was organised by Nigel Pacey and which saw Nigel and two of his fellow runners dressed in haggis costumes.

“Nigel was absolutely delighted with the number of people who took part,” said Biggar Rugby Club match reporter Alistair Stewart.
