Hamish is turning tree stump into art
Glasgow-based chainsaw carver Hamish Maxwell has been tasked with transforming the 4.5m stump, located at the bottom end of Strathclyde Loch, into a child doing a handstand.
A spokeswoman for the council said: “The orginal shape of the stump fit in well with creating a child doing a handstand.

Hide Ad“It is beside the Clyde play area and the idea is for the design to be fun and highlight the different activities that happen in the park, including play in the outdoors.”
