Hand of support from Biggar store

STAFF at Brownlie’s in Biggar will be doing their utmost this year to lend a hand...as the store begins a new charity partnership.

Owners Bruce and Donna Morgan have announced a new partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support to raise funds for local people affected by cancer.

Brownlie’s staff will be raising cash by displaying collecting cans, giving a 5p donation for each carrier bag sold and taking part in various Macmillan fundraising activities.

The store’s first event will be a coffee morning on Friday, September 28.
