Harry and Cis Weekes celebrate Diamond Wedding

So good, in fact, that they are still together over 60 years later.

They have now celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary with cards from friends and family and, of course, one special one from the Queen.

In fact, it was going into National Service for Her Majesty’s father which rather delayed them settling down to married life; after meeting in Princes Street Gardens in 1948, they married three years later.
