Helping Hand for Justin Meek

A LEADING children’s charity helped to make Justin Meek’s day..thanks to a very special room makeover.

Six-year-old Justin, who lives in Lintfieldbank with parents Wendy and Stephen, has a rare condition with symptoms similar to that of Prader-Willi syndrome.

He uses a wheelchair to get around and an oxygen tank and gastromy tube help him stay alive.

As a special treat for the youngster, a Helping Hands team, run by charity WellChild, spent two days sprucing up his bedroom.

His thrilled mum Wendy said: “We are really pleased with the work. We couldn’t have asked for any more from the team.”
