Homes bosses are in a search for some good causes to fund

A housebuilder has urged local charities to apply for a slice of £2,000 being given away to good causes each month.

Persimmon Homes North Scotland recently handed 4th Chryston Rainbows over £700 to help repair storm damage to the hut where they meet.

Now they want groups with similar stories to come forward to take adavntage of the scheme which has given away more than £14,000 since being established in January 2016.

Managing director Iain Innes said: “I’d encourage charities, community groups and organisations to apply and hopefully they will be the next Persimmon Homes Community Champion.”
