Honour for Dr Sinclair Scott’s lifetime in Scouting

Both have been life-long interests and now his voluntary work with the Scouts has been recognised, with the award of the British Empire Medal in the New Year’s Honours List.

“It has been pretty well all my life,” he said of his work with the Scouts.

“I joined as a kid and I have continued in the Scouts ever since, as a junior leader and right through until now.

“It has been a life-long commitment.”
