A 22-year-old woman from Cumbernauld died in a collision on the M80 yesterday (Tuesday)
Central Scotland Police have confirmed that the woman was walking along the southbound stretch of the road after 12.30am when the fatal accident took place.
A spokesperson said that the victim would not be named until relatives were informed.
