Hospice help at heart

KIND-HEARTED students have been spreading the love on their campus to help a charity close to their hearts.

The Cumbernauld College students held a Valentine’s Day stall in a bid to raise vital funds for Strathcarron Hospice.

The students - Elle Davis, Graeme McNie, Alison Merry and Connor Chalmers, have created Cage Productions as part of their HND Managment course.

They will organise events throughout the term, and the latest saw them sell gifts, hold a raffle and ask fellow students to guess the sweets in the jar.

The students also sold pancake packs for Shrove Tuesday, and have a number of events planned later in the term.
