How are Clydesdale’s war memorials?

The Scottish Government has made money available to have war memorials cleaned and restored for the anniversary of the First World War in 2014.

There will be £1 million for the Centenary Memorials Restoration Fund for the upgrade and maintenance of memorials in villages, towns and cities in Scotland to those who gave their lives during both world wars and other conflicts.

South Lanarkshire Council maintains 26 war memorials in the Clydesdale area.

But how are our war memorials?

People seem to turn out in good numbers in our towns and villages on Remembrance Day and the memorials look well tended.

Are there any needing restored in Clydesdale?
