Hundreds gather to remember the fallen

Communities joined together on Remembrance Sunday to pay tribute to those who lost their lives defending their country.

Services took place in churches across East Dunbartonshire and North Lanarkshire on Sunday, November 10.

In Kirkintilloch there was a walk of Remembrance through the town to the Peel Park Gates where the Act of Remembrance service took place.

In Bishopbriggs residents took part in a parade to cenotaphs in the town centre and in Auchinairn where wreaths were laid.

Meanwhile, crowds gathered at the Memorial Gates in Lennoxtown to pay their respects and a procession make its way to the cenotaph in Milton of Campsie.
