Identity of dead man not released

Police today remained tight-lipped about the man’s name, and no information has been released about the cause of his death.

The man is understood to be in his early 80s.

Earlier this week Inspector Graham from Strathclyde Police said: “We are making door-to-door inquiries and if anyone has seen a man walking in the street around this time in the morning, we would like to speak to them.”
