If you go down to the woods today .... there's a wedding taking place!

Denise Keenan and John Taylor got married in Cairnhill woods, Bearsden.

John Taylor (32) from Yoker, who has a son called Finlay from a previous relationship and Denise Keenan (35) from Kelvindale, who has two daughters Abi and Mya from a previous relationship got married on August 5.

The couple, who met when they both worked together in a bar, chose the woods because Denise’s mum lives in Westerton and they often walk through them and they wanted something a bit different for their wedding.

Their ceremony, which was led by a minister, included hand fastening and there were around 120 guests.

Guest Alana Ferns commented on their facebook page: “I can honestly say this was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been to and I feel very blessed to have been a part of it.”
