North Lanarkshire provost Jim Robertson said: “I was delighted to welcome our talented young people to Motherwell Civic Centre to thank them personally for designing our cards this year. All the designs are brilliant and show how creative and skilful our pupils are.

“To see their work in print will hopefully encourage our pupils to continue developing the talent they have. On behalf of everyone at the council I would like to wish all our residents a very Merry Christmas, and a healthy and happy new year.”
