In the dark over Lanark Provost’s Lamp
SOUTH Lanarkshire Council has tried to shed some light on why its Provost Lamp in Lanark town centre hasn’t been working for the past month.
The gas supply to the claret-coloured lamp-post near the Tolbooth was recently cut amid allegations that the gas bill had not been paid by South Lanarkshire Council.
