Interesting life of Lanark Rotary president Neil MacDonald

IT would be pushing it a bit to say that the most interesting thing to happen in Neil MacDonald’s life was becoming President of Lanark Rotary Club.

Being the son of a Crawfordjohn shepherd who went to live and work in Houston, Texas before coming back to head our area’s aerospace industry makes for pretty interesting reading on his CV even before you get to the bit that tells you he became Rotary President.

However, it’s not the first time a man with that fascinating life history has held this post.
