Is Clydesdale at the back of the queue for storm damage repairs?

WHY did Clydesdale take so long to recover from last week’s storms with train and power chaos continuing long after services in other parts of Scotland were restored?

That is a question householders and travellers are asking this week as services were finally restored, long after normality returned to more remote parts of the country such as the Western Isles.

While individual homes were waiting for power to be restored right up to the weekend, the residential caravan park in Kirkfieldbank didn’t have its electricity restored for three full days.
