Isobel Watson, Lanark, is official local hero
A Lanark gran who is fast becoming ‘best friend’ to the town’s children has been recognised as one of Scotland’s official Local Heroes.
C Surely no-one in the Royal Burgh will disagree with this week’s choice of Isobel Watson, of Wheatland Drive, leading light with Lanark Playparks Action Group, representing Clydesdale at the ‘riding’ in the Royal Mile on Friday, July 1, to mark the opening of the fourth session of the Scottish Parliament.
