It's official - Elba Art Gallery in Milngavie is award winning!

Elba Art Gallery in Milngavie has been awarded '˜Independent Retailer of the Year' in the East Dunbartonshire Business Awards 2016 after nearly two years in business.

Named after jewellery designer/jeweller, Eleanor Barron, Elba Artisan gallery opened in November 2014.

Located on Mugdock Road in Milngavie town centre Elba showcases contemporary handmade jewellery, glass, ceramics, art prints,photography, handmade soaps and home accessories made by local and Scottish artists with a few selected European designers.

Eleanor can be found within the gallery making silver and gold jewellery in her studio.

Most items for sale are handmade or designed by friends of Eleanor whom she has met while attending craft fairs in Scotland over the past 15 years.

Elba was also a finalist in east Dunbartonshire Council’s Business Awards last year.
