It’s showtime for glitzy musical theatre event being held in Cumbernauld for Gaza

Detail ambitious benefit at the Westerwood Hotel to help the children of Gaza.

The event which will feature young performers from across the area will take place on Thursday, September 4 from 7pm.

The main players will be the Shakespeare’s Kids group as well as a band from St Maurice’s High School and singers from Our Lady’s High School.

Disney-inspired turns provided by Wish Upon A Star entertainment will see songs performed from Frozen.

And singer Catherine McKenzie will also belt out numbers from the Broadway smash Wicked

Organiser Sharon McNally said: ‘We decided to do this due the UNICEF appeal during the Commonwealth Games and with all the heartache in Gaza. Every penny raised will go to UNICEF and a representative from the organisation will attend.’’

Tickets priced £5/£1 are available on the door.
