Join the club and have a real sporting chance of success

Any East Dunbartonshire sports club or organisation not yet a member of the Sports Council is encouraged to come along and join at the AGM, to have their say and to enjoy the benefits that membership offers.

Membership benefits include access to the Sports Council annual raffle where clubs can raise significant money for club funds in addition to Club Grants of up to £300 per year to help start a club or for equipment and events.

Members can also apply for a selection of grants - some of which are exclusive to members.

These benefits are only available to affiliated clubs and it costs only £30 for your club to join.

Sports Council chairman Lee Hemphill explained: “By getting involved with Sport ED, there is an opportunity for clubs and their members to share knowledge, meet important local sports contacts, access funding, and get support for training, competitions and championships.”

He added: “It’s important for our clubs to get as much support as possible and the Sports Council is here to help, financially through funding streams and by working together to improve local sport.”
