Junior pupils put on a good show
BUDDING young thespians at Belmont House school wowed parents and friends recently at their annual school show.
The Newton Mearns school’s junior drama club, and a choir featuring the junior three to six years, presented The Blue Crystal, a futuristic story about the fate of planet earth.
Linsay McDonald, head of the junior school, told The Extra: “The pupils put in a tremendous amount of work during rehearsals, also giving up breaks and lunchtimes, and this hard work was rewarded in their performance”.
