Kathryn Boag, Crossford, takes on London Marathon

THE age of 36 might be a bit young for someone to be coming out of retirement but that’s exactly what Crossford mum–of–three Kathryn Boag will be doing on Sunday when she takes part in the London Marathon.

This is a big enough challenge even for regular runners but Kathryn is far from that; in fact, her last such event was the 2000 Glasgow Marathon which was, in her own words, “not only eleven years but three children and an extra stone in weight ago!”
