Kilsyth gets ready to switch on Christmas lights

CHRISTMAS is coming to Kilsyth next week as the lights are officially switched on with a star studded programme of entertainment.

The festivities will take place on Friday, November 30, at around 3.30pm in the town’s Main Street.

Real Radio’s Ewen Cameron and STV’s Josie Smith will host the event while Bags of Rock are expected to take to the stage.

Local dance troupe “BLOK” and community choir “Soundsational” will add to the proceedings while Friends of Burngreen have arranged for the music to continue at Burngreen Bandstand.

Once the lights have been switched on they will lead a procession to the bandstand where Lads Wi’ Gear will be performing.
